Wintry Mix

Where did this snow come from? Just two days ago, the temperatures neared 70.

I had picked this of all days to start using up my rolled-over vacation time – and it quickly became apparent that my slate of errands was not going to get done as planned. But lunch downtown with LN (and C) went on as scheduled – after which I took the scenic route home.

“Wintry mix” sounds much more poetic than “freezing, sleety wet mess.”
